Green Tea Brewing
Instructions: Can be brewed like a loose leaf tea. Boil water (use at around 70-80°C, or combine ¼ cold water in ¾ boiled water) and add 1 teaspoon of tea per cup of water. Pour your water over the tea and allow it to steep. For Japanese sencha, steep for 1-3 minutes, while other types of green tea can be steeped for up to 4 minutes. Strain and serve. Lemon or natural sweeteners, like honey or sugar, are popular additions.
For a more traditional chai tea: Place the chai in a saucepan and add desired milk. Bring gently to the boil, and simmer for 10 minutes. You can add honey or sugar to sweeten, if desired. Strain mixture into a cup - Enjoy.
