 Our Jalapeno Pepper powder comes from Mexico. 

A fruit of the Capsicum type. Being a medium sized hot pepper when compared to other chili peppers.

Containing more vitamin C than oranges. In fact a single 14 gram jalapeno pepper contains 10% of daily needs. 

Capsaicin, the chemical that makes chili peppers hot, is a thermogenic. Thermogenics stimulate the body’s burning of fat by increasing the metabolism of the body.

An everyday pepper. They’re not too hot, and contain just the right amount of heat for everyday use.

Since jalapeno peppers range between 2,500 and 8,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), they can be spicy, but are considered to be one of the mid range chilies.

 Jalapeno powder can be added to almost any dish to get more bang but pairs well with chili, corn bread, salsa, sauces, spice blends, stews, taco meat or sprinkled over chicken, eggs, popcorn and pork chops.
