Description
Traditional Chinese Golden Yunnan
A fine grade of Chinese black tea, harvested from heirloom tea trees in China's southwestern Yunnan Province, which is the birthplace of tea. Beautifully oxidized into an auburn colour flecked with golden buds. It has an impressive strength, density and refined finish offering a richly textured infusion with notes of peppery spice, chocolate and sweet lychee with a deep malty finish. This is a premier top-shelf black tea which is delightful on its own or can be drunk with milk and sugar.
Black Tea Brewing
Instructions: Can be brewed like a loose leaf tea. Boil water (use at around 95°C) and add 1 teaspoon tea per cup of water. Pour boiled water over the tea and allow to steep for at least 2-3 minutes before straining and serving. Honey or vegan sweeteners can be used to sweeten and enhance the flavour, and milk or milk alternatives are a favourite addition.
