Description
Frankincense Resin Incense
Botanical Name: Boswellia papyrifera
Organic Status: Conventional
Country of Origin: Eritrea
Form: Resin
This particular Frankincense is similar to Ethiopian Boswellia carteri, but this Boswellia papyrifera is sourced from the tiny African nation of Eritrea, and is a much sweeter Frankincense than that of traditional Frankincense resins. It is a highly prized species and some experts say this is most likely the Frankincense of antiquity referred to in books and history.
Used throughout the ages to enhance spirituality, mental perception, meditation, prayer and consciousness.
Incense: You can enjoy the benefits of Frankincense by burning it as an incense. To do this you will need a small bowl that can tolerate heat filled with sand, with a self-igniting charcoal disc in the centre. Light the charcoal and get it burning before carefully adding a small amount of powder on top. Never leave charcoal unattended.
