How to Do a Herbal Steam at Home

What you'll need:

  • A heatproof bowl
  • A towel
  • Hot water (not boiling)
  • Dried herbs or a few drops of essential oil

Instructions:

  1. Add 1–2 tablespoons of dried herbs or 3–4 drops of essential oil to your bowl.
  2. Pour hot water over the herbs.
  3. Place your face about 30cm above the bowl and drape a towel over your head to trap the steam.
  4. Breathe deeply for 5–10 minutes.
