Use:

Connect the adaptor cord to the base of the diffuser but do not plug in. Remove the top cover of the diffuser and add up to 300ml of cold water to the water tank. Then add a few drops of pure essential oil or blend to the water. Gently place the diffuser cover back on top of the base unit. Plug the cord into the power supply and switch on. Press the "Mist" button to select the time required. Press the "Light" button to turn lights on.
