Ongoing global tensions and conflicts can sometimes have ripple effects that reach far beyond the regions where they occur. For businesses in Australia, international events can influence the cost and availability of fuel, shipping, and freight services, which in turn can affect supply chains and delivery timelines.
Australia relies heavily on global shipping routes and international logistics networks to bring goods into the country. When conflicts occur overseas, they can disrupt major transport corridors, increase insurance costs for cargo vessels, and cause fuel prices to rise. These changes often lead to higher freight costs and occasional delays as shipping routes are adjusted or congestion builds at key ports.
We have already seen how global events can affect supply and pricing in recent years. The COVID era created widespread disruptions to manufacturing and shipping, while the war in Ukraine contributed to increased energy and transport costs around the world, and a loss of crops and plant material from this region. Current tensions in the Middle East may create similar pressures, particularly for fuel prices and international freight routes, which can impact businesses that include imported ingredients and products.
Despite these challenges, we remain committed to doing everything we can to maintain reliable product availability and keep our prices as stable as possible. We work closely with our suppliers, monitor shipping conditions, and plan ahead where possible to help minimise disruptions. Our goal is always to continue providing the high-quality herbs, teas, and essential oils you rely on, while managing costs responsibly and keeping our supply lines as strong as possible.
Shipping
Parcels are sent by Australia Post, and all orders are sent with tracking.
We offer FREE shipping on all orders within Australia that reach a total of $50, as well as a flat rate of $9 for Express Post.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of receiving payment (Monday-Thursday), however delivery times depend on location.
If your delivery has been delayed, or you think it may be lost in transit, please contact us by email with your order number, and we will look into it straight away for you. We ask that you wait a couple of days beyond the estimated delivery date before contacting us, but please do not wait longer than this. If you do not contact us within 3 months, we will be unable to view the tracking information and locate your order.
In the very unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged in transit, then we will issue either a full refund or send you a replacement. The only exception to this is when you have requested a 'safe drop' and after delivery is made your order goes missing or is stolen, or if you have waited 3 months or more after dispatch to contact us. We can not offer a refund in these cases.
If your item is sent back to us 'Return to Sender' due to incomplete address details, incorrect address information, not collected, or for any other reason that is not due to an error on our end, we request that the buyer covers the freight charge to send the order back out to them. We do not offer refunds on these orders due to the expenses occurred in packaging, posting, and receiving a Return to Sender item back to us.
We are charged a 'Return to Sender' fee for all items returned to us, so please ensure you check your address information carefully before finalising your order. This will also prevent delays on receiving your order, so you can start enjoying your purchase as soon as possible!
Pickups
Since early 2020 we do not offer a Pickup option, however we do have FREE postage available on eligible orders and we get all orders out quickly =) If this changes in the future you will see updates to this policy here.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 3 business days).
