Experience the vibrant elegance of MY HERB CLINIC ® Matcha Organic Ceremonial Grade 4A Powder – a truly exquisite green tea powder crafted with care and tradition. Sourced from the finest mountain plantations in China, this matcha is grown on organic farms and processed in the authentic Japanese style to deliver a ceremonial-grade experience worthy of any tea connoisseur.

The journey of this exceptional tea begins with the tender first buds of the Camellia sinensis plant, which are shaded for approximately 20 days to naturally elevate levels of theanine, caffeine, and chlorophyll. Around 88 days after the first day of spring, following the Japanese agricultural calendar, the delicate buds are hand-harvested and briefly steamed to halt oxidation, locking in their brilliant green colour. Rather than being rolled like Sencha, the leaves are carefully cooled, becoming Tencha. This Tencha is then slowly stone-ground into an ultra-fine, bright emerald green matcha powder with a strong, fresh, and mellow flavour and rich umami character.

This premium ceremonial grade is perfect for direct brewing and drinking, offering a smooth, vibrant, and deeply satisfying cup. With a mellow sweetness and reduced bitterness thanks to its shaded growth, it’s the ideal choice for traditional tea ceremonies, high-end gifts, or an indulgent daily ritual.

Grown with organic principles and processed according to centuries-old Japanese methods, this matcha embodies the harmony of tradition, purity, and taste.

Suggested Preparation:

Traditionally, matcha is prepared using a bamboo scoop (chashaku) to measure the powder, a wide ceramic bowl (chawan) for whisking, and a bamboo whisk (chasen) to create a smooth, frothy finish.

To enjoy, sift 1/4 teaspoon of matcha into a bowl, add a small amount of hot water (around 70–80°C), and whisk in a zig-zag motion until a fine foam appears. More hot water may be added to taste. This ceremonial method highlights the matcha’s delicate flavour and texture, making it ideal for mindful tea rituals or quiet moments of reflection.
