Oakmoss Absolute - IFRA-compliant Low Atranol

Dry, earthy, bark and pine-like top notes over smooth, rich notes of moss, wood, decaying leaf, fungus, lichen, and damp earth; deep, mysterious and evocative, an excellent fixative.

This particular Oakmoss has been extracted to have a low Atranol content, with below 100ppm, as a small percentage of people (around 5%) can have a skin sensitivity to this constituent.

*note as this oil is so thick at room temperature, you will actually need to warm the glass bottle up to get it to a more mobile liquid state.  We suggest popping the oil into a waterproof bag and letting it sit in a warm water bath until the desired consistency is achieved.  It is best to quickly dilute this into other essential oils, carrier oils, or cream/balm mixes, before it starts to cool and thicken up again.

This oil is worth the small amount of time it will take to warm it up, as it is such an amazing 'faerie wood' scent.
