Organically crafted, our Blackcurrant Bud Absolute, also known as Cassis Absolute, is extracted from the flowering buds of Ribes nigrum grown in the Burgundy region of France.  The resulting essential oil absolute is sweet and fruity, with some minty and citrus-like aromas, and earthy undertones.  It is very reminiscent of the ripe Blackcurrant fruit itself.

This absolute is an essential addition to the natural perfumer's palette of aromatics.
